Strother Twins

Be still my heart....how precious are these babies??? We met them today in Austin, and had the best time!  They are the sweetest, happiest babies and were so easy to shoot.  Mom, Dad and I would cheer and holler at them to get them to smile, and they were so cute...they would flap their little arms like birds and make the most adorable faces.  It's funny, because watching mom and dad handle them today, I found myself thinking "How do they manage with two babies??"....and I have DONE it....I just can't remember what it was like.  I'm sure it wasn't easy, but how can you not love having TWO of these at home??  I wanted to stuff them in my pocket and take them home....I loved so many from their shoot...get ready for a long preview.....

The Brays.....

Love these kids!  I think they are adorable...probably because they look a lot like my kids! :)  They were so sweet and cooperative today!  We managed to do this shoot pretty quickly, and they were so good the whole time.  I posted some of my favorites....I LOVE the picture where big sissy is giving the baby the stink eye.  This is probably not one that their mommy will want to frame, but it cracks me up, and is so honest!  Enjoy....

Jason and Krystal....

I am shooting this couple's wedding in July of next year, and couldn't be more excited!  They are super cute, and came to the shoot with lots of ideas of how they wanted to be photographed, which I love!

I came home from this shoot feeling really happy....and later that night I was talking to my husband about how this is the main reason I love photography......you get to be around for the happiest times in people's lives:  getting married, pregnancy, a new baby....it's a privilege to share these times with people...and it's a wonderful daily reminder for me about what REALLY matters in life....love, family and happiness.  Jason and Krystal, you guys are such a fun couple....I can't wait for your wedding and for what the future holds for you both!  

Maddie and Reagan

These two little cousins are adorable....those EYES!  Their mommies had them christened together, and wanted to get some pictures of them in their dresses.  We managed to get a few more costume changes in before they had had enough.

We managed to sneak in a few of Maddie's whole family, and some of Reagan's big brother J.T.  He wasn't very interested in posing for pictures, but I think Mom might have used some bribery to get him to at least glance in the direction of my camera!

The Smith Family

Today I got to photograph the Smith family....they are precious, and I LOVED so many from their shoot!  Enjoy!!

I love them all, but I really love the black and white of the whole family....I told Mom and Dad to smooch, and little Sage grabbed baby brother and laid one on him, too!  It was too cute!

Jax's Wedding....

I loved shooting this wedding....probably because they are more my friends than clients....it was a fun, fun day and so sweet!  Here are just a few of my favorites from the day...I love the one where the groom gets the first peek at his bride as the doors open, and seeing their faces so full of emotion during their vows!  There was a lot of love throughout the day....they love each other, they love their families....it was perfect!  Thanks, guys, for having me be a part of your special day!
